He may be young, but he certainly showed a lot of pace and capability to worry the Italian defence more often and not.

Will be interesting to see if any club was window shopping this tournament.

The telegraph ran a story september last year we were looked at signing him around the same time we signed Kaborè, but opted to not Riennes signed him a few weeks later.

We have Foden, Sterling, zivchenko, Jesus, torres, upcoming EDS players like Borges, Edozie etc that could break through that can all play wide left.

Buying him would be for the sake of it not necessity.

Divock Origi had an impressive World Cup 2014. Apart from some goals in big games hasn't really done it at Liverpool.

Always better to judge on club form first.
It's not the same though. Players can have a great game or tournament. Which is wholely different from having certain traits.

It's the traits this kid has that's exciting. Not whether he has one good game or another.

I would like to hear what VK has to say about this kid. Left Anderlecht where he'd been since he was ten and went to Rennes fro £26m. Who, Rennes? My ERO sez they have a fantastic academy at Rennes but where are Rennes in the pecking order of French football cuisine? Were PSG, Marseilles, Monaco, Lens, Guingamp, Troyes interested? I have a sneaking feeling the lad has followed Sancho's moves! Rennes is the stepping stone to where? I seem to recall VK being asked if Anderlecht had any decent players and he did mention him.

He was brilliant in both knock out games for Belgium against Portugal and Italy. He has that speed over the first 5-10 yards that I've only seen from Sterling, the acceleration is frightening for defenders.

Someone will come in for him.

Very impressive Euros.

Raw acceleration, rapid feet / dribbling ability, strong, direct.

A proper **** to defend against.

Would negate the attacking threat of pretty much any RB in football.

Sterling / Hazard / SWP hybrid.

Was hoping we would sign this lad last year thought the price was nearer £15 million to Rennes, he can play left wing due to his good control with both feet, would have been good as a sterling backup/ challenge but if you want to see him on song watch his game vs PSG at the end of the season, against a very good side.
