Maybe, Mahrez wasn’t first choice Palmer hardly played. If we buy an attacking midfielder then that leaves Bernardo Foden and Palmer if we think he can play more for the right if we decide to go that way. Still leaves Alvarez to play behind Haaland as well.
As has been said we don’t always replace like with like wouldn’t be that surprised or concerned if we only brought in an attacking midfielder.

Friday report from Romano that a bid will be made within 48 hours.
no news until Tuesday 29th where we hear the reports that we are Imminent FC again.
30th Martin Blackburn is getting some info that City bid is in that morning, Rennes rejects it in the afternoon.
31st morning it will be accepted at a higher bid, paperwork, medical TBC.
Presented 1st of September.
