Park leaves Manchester City
Jess Park has completed a permanent transfer to Manchester United.www.mancity.com
Confirmed transfer to United

Needs to be some needle in the womens game. I know there's far fewer options and the women move clubs every other year but if you're going directly from us to the rags you've got to expect some shit.
Agree, just read both statements and came on her to say the same. Jess seems genuinely sad at leaving. Her leaving statement is a lot more generous towards us than Clinton's was about United and I respect that ha.
I have no problem with her for joining United. If we were actually giving her meaningful game time I dont think she'd have been looking for this move. She needs to play football and I think we were the ones happy to use her as collateral in getting Clinton.
Think it's also worth pointing out that options for suitable clubs for top players are just much narrower in the women's game. Top clubs who can pay decent money are limited and players have fewer choices.
I dont think she deserves pelters from our fans for making this move. Clinton might get a few off United though as I think she forced the move. Also expect Kelly to get some stick when she comes to the Joie in October.
Regarding needle. There is plenty in the women's game. It just hits different. My personal favourite was "Caitlin Foord, she'll sleep with your wife" from the Villa fans when she started dating Katie McCabe (who had previously been in a relationship one of their players)
In case anyone hasn't seen itHer leaving statement is a lot more generous towards us than Clinton's was about United and I respect that ha.
She has said on one of the videos that City is the club she always supportedAgree, just read both statements and came on her to say the same. Jess seems genuinely sad at leaving.
I've always thought she'd been a childhood blue, so I don't really understand how she can put that shirt on.She has said on one of the videos that City is the club she always supported

A jobs a job I suppose. They don't earn the sort of dosh the blokes doI've always thought she'd been a childhood blue, so I don't really understand how she can put that shirt on.

Because she didn't want to waste the best years of her playing career being a bit part player for us or waiting on injuries for game time. Can't say I blame her and I'll wish her well (not too well of course as it's at the ragettes). It will be odd seeing her in red but all I'll say is that I hope she got a pay rise for having to wear that kit.I think it's more, she wasn't out of a job and they were the only team. She had a contract at City and chose to go to them
