Genuinely thought he got very little out of Azpilicueta all night. Sure he never gave up and put in a shift, but it would have made more sense for him to try his luck against Ivanovic on the other side for ten minutes.

A constant outlet and he did his best to provide some width and create space for others while managing to put at least a couple of decent balls into the box. Worked his arse off too. A decent shift considering how the team performed overall.

I just cannot believe some of these posts about Navas......he was our main threat going forward for the full 90 minutes.

This is true of the starting players yet he was still not great, poor end product, terrible corners.
A half fit Jovetic completely outshone the rest of the team.

I just wish he would run down the wing more often instead of cutting in all the time. He looks so much more dangerous when he has chalk on his boots!

he only cut in so much bc they expect him to go touchline everytime. think pellegrini has been working with him to do that more, honestly (cutting in). He's got the direct game down pretty good if u ask me. just looks like he's just trying to add more to his game

Erm, I never said he wasnt? I am a big fan of his. Just at times tonight he looked so predictable, I love the old fashioned winger who legs it down the wing and crosses the ball. He has been class for us, I just wish he would try and take the full back on every now and then. Love his attitude but I'm afraid he is so one dimensional. If he was the best City Player Tonight we are Doomed. His crossing was brutal. For all his pace he takes the wrong option most times. Having said that I think He Is a player who could improve with coaching.
