Sorry, can't be hypocritical. He tried hard, gave his all but quite simply wasn't good enough. A very very, probably the most frustrating player ever to adorn the sky blue shirt.
In a league where he is given time on the ball, and defenders don't close him down, he does well, unfortunately he just wasn't as good in the premier league as he thought he would be.
Good luck.
Navas was a very useful player. Extremely fast, and I really appreciated his willingness to use that speed in defence too. I will remember him for scoring the last goal in the 2014 League Cup final. Thanks and goodbye Jesús!
Always knew he was fast, but never fully appreciated it until watching that. There's a clip in that montage from a game against Norwich (ca. 1.52 mins) where he runs past numerous players to get the ball, including some of his teammates. Incredible ability to cover the ground for someone with a relatively short gait.
Always gave 100% but was only ever going to be a squad player , such a frustrating player if he could have put more decent quality crosses into the box instead of hitting the 1st man , his decision making let him down , but you can't fault his effort or commitment hope he gets a decent club
Cheers Jesus, tried his very best and whilst frustrating he played a good part whilst he was here. Imagine what could have been had he had a bit more composure and conviction in his boots.
