Did you read what I posted? I would rather give that role to one of our up and coming youth players. Whats the point of this academy if you are not going to give the young players a chance even in a back up role. Sadly Pep just looks like every other cheque book manager.

The kids are not ready,watch an EDS game for yourself,Maffeo is the nearest and needs another yr on loan before being ready
 
Neither is Iheanacho or Tosin apparently not as if we have been conceeding silly goals or not taking chances up front the last six months is it?

How did that excellent young prospect Inheanacho get on. He was scoring for fun at the start of the season. Think he has had about an hr in the first team since Jan. Big lad also would be a option as a target for all those Navas crosses. Instead of our midgets.

Not all of them are going to be good enough. Iheanacho has a decent scoring record but right now isn't a good enough all round player and would probably benefit from a loan somewhere.

He is a great fox in the box but the rest of his play is not at the standard pep wants,sergio is learning on the pitch and nacho has said he is training hard and improving

Which young player ?
 
I don't like him as a RB, i don't like him as a wing back and i sure as fuck don't like him as a winger. He's been OK in his time here but let him go back to Sevilla where he is happy and lets upgrade the squad properly. If they're looking at him to be the back up for a world class right back, he's not, if he's the 3rd back up for two right backs, that should be Maffeo or another kid from the youth team. I really don't understand this one.
 
I really don't see the problem in this, we're losing both Sagna and Zabaleta this window, that means we need a full back and a back up full back, how can we be expected to pay 30+m on a starting full back then also pay for a back up that would be a fair chunk of our budget gone on one position surely it is better to retain Navas as he is a cheap option so we have more money to use on other areas of the pitch that are in desperate need of reinforcements. After all, it's not like he'll be starting 30/40 games a season, he might not be the most technically gifted player ever to grace the pitch but he puts a shift in and could do a job a few games a season.

Nope I just think hes shite and not good enough for our team and where we all want it to be. You and Chi think hes fine. We shall just have to agree to dissagree.
