Jill Roord ACL - Docu about her recovery P4.

For once I don't think this has anything to do with the club and Taylor, but with her wanting to be closer to home and her new girlfriend

Regardless of the reason, let's see how recruitment moves from here. I hope we at least got some money back, considering what we paid two years ago

It would have been nice if she'd repaid the hard work the club's medical team put in getting her back to fitness, by showing a bit of loyalty to the club. Modern football, I guess.

I think this is a bit of a harsh take tbh. She got the injury doing her job and the club has a duty of care to get her fit again (which is also in their interests).

It doesn't seem like there's been any huge drama over it. She hasnt agitated for a move to a direct rival and it doesnt seem to be motivated by money. She just decided she wanted go home and seems to have been allowed to do so with the clubs best wishes and with nothing but good things to say about us.

Tbh, even though it's never great to lose a player of her quality, she was inconsistent last season and the squad was lacking balance. She was probs one of our higher earners but we have other equally as talented number 10s. It probably suits us for her to move on and maybe recruit someone of her quality/cost in an area of the pitch where we really need it.

Whilst I'm disappointed she's gone, in a way it makes sense for all concerned.
