Jim Beglin and the ' commentary team' last night.....

Beglin's alright , the other rag cun.t is just a ...erm...rag cun.t .
Some of the 'terminology' used during commentary regarding Rooney et al was 'cringe worthy' . Bias on a unprecedented level . Shrek did fuck all night , yet he was the ''.. catalyst of United's great first half attacking play ..'', according to the commentator .
I too 'goose stepped' into the kitchen to put the kettle on after Robben's quality volley .

I actually had to mute the tv when united scored each of their goals, when nani got his first 'absolutely beautiful goal'....Shut the fuck up!!!!!

Surely with nowadays capabilties the tv channels should offer an option to turn the commentary off, just watch it with the match sounds, watching it on mute gets a bit shit.

Hahahahahahaha! Having him there to "just stand on the pitch" shows that both Rooney and Sluralex have absolutely ZERO faith in any of the other forwards at the club.
 
Tyldsley and Beglin is the nightmare combination. Rag wanking twatbags. Tyldsley is desperate for soundbites and tries them non-stop. Awful commentator, not fit to lace someone like Barry Davies' shoes. When he tries to react to a goal with a single shouted adjective like 'gorgeous' it is sickening. Hyperbole and general bullshittery for 90 minutes.

I think television really needs to re-assess what commentators are there for. It's not radio where the audience relies on the commentator to describe the whole game for them. We can see the game and make our own judgements. The commentator needs to tell us things we cannot see and also give us extra information such as player names. They do not have to talk all the time. The co-commentator/summariser whatever you want to call them should be a clever person who can tell us stuff we don't know. In fact coverage of football in general is pretty shite because studio pundits rarely break from the consensus of stating the obvious. There are very few pundits who have ever told me something I can't see for myself.
 
i remember enjoying some of the commentary on the football games at the recent olympics. one commentator (cant remember who it was!) no hyperbole just simple description and information - also he was quite prepared to say nothing at times. it was great.
