Jim Ratcliffe - claims the UK is being “colonised”

Racist is a label given out too readily these days by people that want to take some kind of moral high-ground ,everybody is entitled to their own views without others trying to put them into categories.
My personal view on all this is the line between immigration and ILLEGAL immigration has become very blurred thus they now call it irregular immigration,
the clue is in the word illegal, if someone breaks into your home they're a robber not a irregular visitor.

Eh? The conservatives changed it to illegal immigrants. What an illegal immigrant is is blurred in itself though as we have conflicting laws.

What I don’t understand is those that say they want the country back like it used to be and then vote for reform, that to me is a prime reason not to vote for them!

No it isn’t, as we have the conflicting law of the refugee act. The conservatives implementing one and not changing the other is what made it blurred.

They did it so people would say that it’s binary even though they knew themselves it wasn’t.
 
I don't think the scruff is racist. Mad misinformation though. He's probably just jumping the Swamp ship and defecting to Reform.

Scruffy Jim could have made that distinction in the interview. Why do you think he chose not to?

Not really - you are not understanding what was happening - as Brexit caused people to leave and go back home to the EU then Covid prevented any of them coming back the Tories were busy passing laws and making rules so they couldn't return.

Meantime post Covid the UK was suffering manpower shortages so they decided to allow immigrants from around the globe on special work visas to cover the damage but then people like Farage saw the numbers and started making a big thing of them and that was the point where the Tories were behind him and began their ever desperate Reform UK tribute act so I'd say rather than poorly managed it was doing exactly what they wanted to do because they were a piss poor Govt.

The NHS gets far more than £300m extra per week since 2018. Probably nearer £400m.

But they probably would have regardless.

Of course it wasn't a mistake. He's a highly successful businessman who will be well-informed enough to understand the connotations of such a word. It's rich to talk about Britain being colonised given our, shall we say chequered past; a past which many are keen to whitewash. It's also especially rich for an individual to talk about immigration causing economic insecurity for the masses when said individual is happily storing their wealth in tax havens.
