Our kid was in the same class as one of his accomplices , Anthony Adasida, himself a promising footballer at one time…
Anyway, Jim found his calling, a better singer than footballer (:
I went to watch Oldham Vs Northampton Town once, Jim was on loan to Northampton from us at the time. Waited outside for him & got him to sign my City shirt. He was a really nice guy & seemed quite surprised at the time, I can't remember his exact words but I think when I said will you sign this his reply was "are you sure" with a big smile.
Not sure if this'll work, but he's an unbelievable artist too.
Cheers mate and Jim’s a top fella.Always came across as a really good lad Jim and really good to see that’s the case (much more affable than Jeff ime lol)
I remember his debut and thought then he was a cracking little player, tough with good technique, sad he didn’t go on to better things, he was capable of that, but he still seems over the moon with what he managed to achieve, especially given his injuries.
Cheers Mark, another top one.
I always thought it was Jeff who was the artistMan City: Former player Jim Whitley on CBBC Jamie Johnson acting role
