Absolutely incredible today. MOTM for me. Would love to see the amount of yards he covered, was everywhere. Great defensively and getting better going forward, and his link up play with Silva is great. The last few games hes played he has cemented his place in this amazing team. Every club needs a player like Milner.
 
Not commented on any of the threads on here yet, mainly through shock, joy and the fact I can't stop watching the game back.

I feel obliged to comment on jimmy's absolutely sublime performance though. Not his first this season, but his best yet.

His willingness and enthusiasm in getting from one end of the pitch to the other is what makes him incredible. With the ball, he rarely wastes it. Without the ball, he often wins it.

Incredible support play and i am extremely proud to have Milner wearing that shirt. Well done son, well done.
 
just like the rest of the squad, Milner has stepped up a level this season, they all know they have to play out of their skin any chance they get. Milner is now showing the form that prompted Mancini to buy him last summer, great engine, gets stuck in and a great passer of the ball, and it seems playing with top quality players has helped him up his game. the last 2 games (Villa and rags) he has been phenominal. every single player in that squad busts a gut for the manager and for their team-mates when they get a chance,and Mancini knows he can rotate the squad, and the performance level wont drop
