Never really knew much about his life, but having watched the documentary last night, lets just say it was 'complicated'.

His wife seems to have got caught up in the whole WAG's scene and appeared utterly blind to a lot of quite significant things that were going on in his life.

Worth a watch if you have a spare 90 minutes.

I watched it the other night. Bloody fascinating. One lapse of concentration is all it took.

Why what like. What was he doing.
 
Well, he converted to Islam so he could marry an Iranian woman whilst he was still married in the UK for starters. He was also borrowing money against his house to carry out 'building work' that he was spanking down the bookies...
That is complicated.
