Dunno mate. I know we were one of a number of top clubs interested in Félix before his £113m move to Atletico.Amazed we have not gone for him and I am certain he has been offered several times, hence there must be something amiss with the lad, not technic for sure, must be mentality/personality issues.
Apart from a huge wage bill and losing a squad spot, never mind blocking the progress of other players.Couldn’t really go wrong with a loan move if we don’t sign anybody else. Class player, but has played for 2 very dysfunctional sides
If we could ship Phillips out, with Nunes in.Why Felix when we have Palmer? Quite similar? Skill full with a lazy swagger.
I might be in the minority but I think Felix would be an amazing signing for City. Pep is a big fan of Portuguese players and City play the exact brand of football and style that Felix would excel in. On talent level alone he is a player capable of staring at Manchester City and I have a feeling Pep would make Felix "explode" and unlock his full potential. He is still only 24 and his stock is as low as it's ever been. There is an opportunity now there City can purchase a player with very high reward. Despite not having a particular excellent loan spell, Joao Felix showed excellent glimpses of quality in the premier league. He is brilliant with the ball in his feet and has world class technical ability. He is the type of player who can play in the pocket and create scoring opportunities for himself and his teammates. Felix has consistently made the wrong career move by going to clubs that either A. don't fit his style of play/play him out of position (Atletico) or B. an absolute dumpster fire of a club with no clear direction (Chelsea last season).
City, Felix, Pep is a perfect match.
That exactly how Simeone had him setup to play on the counter at AtleticoFelix is a highlight reel player, He also dosent do enough off the ball.
Messi's greatest advice to players is to stand still more often.Felix is a highlight reel player, He also dosent do enough off the ball.
Easy for him to say that isn't it.Messi's greatest advice to players is to stand still more often.
Well he's clearly the man to take advice from.Easy for him to say that isn't it.
