Chelsea need a goal scorer. In 17 PL games they have cored 20 goals - one more than they have conceded - and lie in 10th place. At the moment they are 50 goals and 46 points short of the club (Spurs) which finished 4th last season. It seems to be asking a lot to expect Felix to inspire Chelsea to perform at this level and there seems to be a whiff of desperation, not to say panic, about the deal. Indeed, Chelsea seem to have long term problems in matching strikers/goalscorers to the rest of the team. There have been some success stories but also some expensive failures - Lukaku most recently, but Havertz and Werner never performed as hoped. In Felix's case, if he is a 20 goal a season man (is he?) Chelsea can expect 12 goals this season and the same number of assists (?!), which will be nowhere near enough for Chelsea's needs. The club needs something more than the "policy" of buying the latest expensive big name.

He is the most obvious Pep / City player I have seen for a long time, incredible talent, just needs a great mentor.

not a chance. he is not suited to be winger and we do not play with a 10 or SS. so unless he can get a spot in midfield he is useless in our system.

We no longer play with wingers, we have a wide player that can't beat a man, does not score goals and creates little, Felix does all 3.

He like a certain Grealish was bought for an outrageous fee which was never going to be justified, but for me in terms of sheer talent he is night and day a better player.

He has shades of Aguero,not as clinical and and far more industrious but stylistically they are similar.He also has an energy and directness that we are crying out for.
