João Félix

I wouldn’t take a single player at the expense of Sane.

Huge decision if they get rid and it’ll be out of Pep’s hands as to whether it’s the right one in the end. If Sane wins the Ballon D’Or it will be a huge mistake, or he could be Mario 2.0 and do nought once leaving.
Mistake is entirely the wrong word if he refuses to sign a new contract and we’re forced to sell.

You can clearly see why Pep likes him. His movement, technique and decision making is well beyond his years. Long-term replacement for Aguero if there ever was one.

Footballing IQ is very high, seeing the spaces or through balls and his technique & touch is already so impressive. He's young still though, I think his game has yet to really fill out so wouldn't be the sort of instant impact signing IMHO. Patience and the right environment would be important - perhaps he will stay another year or two at Benfica

It's not about "mistakes". If Sane (German) wants to go to the biggest German side... feels he'll get more playing time as obviously he has not had it the last month+... he'll go. Bayern would likely match most any offer we could re: wages and there's no need to have a sulking player run down his contract when we could at least cash in. If he goes we need the best young option we can muster, Sterling has LW locked down w/ Bernie on the right. Felix would learn on the job and potentially be a very good choice. All IMO of course.

I hope City manage to keep Sané and start using him on the right flank next season (where I think he can reach his full potential), and skip this Felix-kid and look into Bruno Fernandes instead, to replace either Gundogan or David Silva. He is a great player. I find him way more impressive than Felix.

After watching that video I'd say he's best suited for the dual 8 positions that Silva and De Bruyne take up which are effectively like 2 #10's. Looks like he can play well between the lines, can play key passes to break a press and can assist and create while being able to get into the box a well. Of course he seems like he could play a number of positions, but that's just where I think he'd be most effective. I wouldn't mind him staying at Benfica another year and we tap him up when Dave is gone.
That has been my conclusions too.

Opinions and all. But I'll take Felix over Bruno everyday of the week and 2ice on Sunday.

No one is questioning Sane's ability, but I think there is concerns about his desire to get to the very top of his trade.

In my opinion he has even more ability than Sterling but no where near his desire.

Seldom do you see Raheem sulking on a pitch.Unfortunately its a big trait of Sanes. Pity as we can all see the ability the lad has,but he lacks consistency.
Well if Pep played him more ... I hear them scream.Perhaps if the lad showed more bottle and fight then he may well get more playing time.
He could learn a thing or two from Sterling and Berno.
I do wonder if Pep has had enough of the lad, just my opinion.
