João Félix

Oh well.

Atletico will sell him in the end. Probably to Barcelona, as they will not want to sell him to Real Madrid.

TBF he’s just moving over the border, and living the Mediterranean life he’s used to.

Official and confirmed: Joao Felix is new Atlético Madrid player, here we go! €126M to Benfica, deal done ⚪️ #JoaoFelix #transfers #Atléti #AtleticoMadrid

Interesting to see how he gets on. For that much money he needs to hit the ground running.

He obviously is talented. However, I would be very surprised if he is able to do well under Simiones system.

That’s a big fee for a kid. He has potential but there’s no guarantee he’ll fulfil it.

Slightly risky move both for Felix and Atletico. Simeone's style improves defenders but forwards? Lemar for example flopped there

Atletico Madrid now in the race at £126 million euros and on the drip and paying it in installment hahahahahhahahahaha we don't get fooled again ???????????????

look if they get away with sort of thing with uefa FFP then manchester city should just walk away from uefa and their dodgy rules ??? PSG now atletico madrid want to hide the money they spend with installments ???? its a joke and they are looking to ban manchester city for over spending by a couple of £million ???? back in 2013 ??????

Chill out guys, Atletico are selling Griezmann don't forget. Their net spend between the two forwards will be very small. I don't see how you're all calling for their heads all of a sudden.

Not sure what the issue is with Atletico's proposed deal as paying in installments is quite the norm in transfers & indeed helps with staying in line with FFP rather than outright circumventing it. As for Atletico & FFP, they aren't really in any sort of jeopardy either in budget or transfers despite the 100M on Costa & Vitolo. If anything, all eyes should be on the synergy with Chinese investors which even Carrasco cited as part of his motivation to consider the transfer there.

On the other hand, there is something to take note of - Mendes who is at the center of the possible transfer

WTF are you on about? Everyone pays transfer fees in instalments to spread the cost around if possible, it's not new.

We spread the cost of buying Aguero over 3 seasons, €12m in July 2011, 2012 & 2013.

Paying in instalments is the norm, plus Atletico are selling Griezmann for a hefty sum. There's fuck-all wrong with them doing what they're doing

I'll also add that UEFA aren't looking to ban us just for over-spending by a couple of a million. They'd never ban a club for simply doing that, unless said club was committing the same offence time and time and time again. Their allegations centre around something entirely different. Granted, I think those allegations are unfounded and unproven, but they're nothing to do with over-spending
