Luckily enough VAR weren't involved or it would have been even longerTypical isn't it... the one time he actually scores and years later he gets arrested for it.

I did. And João Alves de Assis Silva wasn’t fucking cheap mateHow many people had his name on the back of his shirt cos it was cheap ;)
Vuoso has to be in there too.
I think there might have been something fishy with Vuoso like appearance money due. I saw a few city reserve games when I was working away at that time and he could be quite classy imo and was convinced (maybe optimistically) that his debut was just around the corner but it never came. Actually just checked his overall career and its not that bad.Vuoso has to be in there too.
Stealing a livingWhat for, impersonating a footballer?
Oh how the World cup of 82 is forgotten! The only unskilful Brazilian forward in the entire history of world football.
Tbf we brought him to these shores then realised he was crap. He was sent to spend his time in the Casino but he was cooler there as well, so we had to loan him to Neverton. So he made more appearances for Everton but he's ex City, typical MUEN

Having read the article it seems he has more kids than he scored goals.![]()
Former Man City star arrested off team bus after allegedly 'failing to pay child support'
Former Manchester City striker Jo Alves has been arrested in Sao Paolo, Brazil as per reports from his home country.www.joe.co.uk
Our favourite prolofic striker Jo has been arrested apparently.
I remember his press conference. A journalist asked Hughes what qualities he had that would make him an asset. He looked at him and said "he's a big lad" almost as if he knew literally nothing about him as a player.
MUEN stopped being a Manchester paper when along with The Echo became part of The Reach group. Bring back the Chronicle and Manchester GuardianVery strange comment - why would a Manchester paper not say he is ex City?
