Considering Elan and Robinho have been on fire recently I'd have Jo back in an instant. Gutted he is out on loan.

Studge
Big Phil
Boj or Evans

At 22 he should really be showing his class. He isn't because he is not a Premier League standard player.
His record in Russia or for Brazil ( such as it is) means nothing. Samaras is a proven international and everything points to Jo being at or around that standard.

if you ask me he needs to play up top with another striker, for me he just isnt strong or commited enough to play the lone striker, he also seems to be slow at getting away, and his touch is too heavy....he does have some potential, but hes dosnt have the most potential at our club as a previous poster said....sturridge has more.

but the fact he needs another striker alongside him makes me believe he wont make it at our club, as the formation we play caters for robinho, SWP and Ireland playing in their best positions, but we deffinately need a front man to combine with these players

Watched the game and actually thought his movement was pretty good. He did miss two one on ones wouldnt call them sitters.

But the positives were that he was at least getting in the positions to get chances and seemed to be in the right places.

why is this pathetic?? i agree with him, someone made the argument to me that Jo scored a bag full in russia while sturidge hasnt for us, but thats nonesense because sturridge hasnt had the oportunity to play inrussia, instead hes grew up trying to break into the best league in the world.....and this season i heard hes had a hand in around 9-11 gooals, whether its an assist or goal......

if you ask me, on their performance alone, Jo would be bottom of that list u made along with Evans
