Was Jo not being allowed to play against us on sat (and inevitably scoring) the first time this has happened with city?
Is it me or is it whenever we have loaned players out they always have played against us
Or have we just not had any players worth loaning out in the past?

I know that whenever we have an ex player or loanee play against us they ALWAYS score!

Is this a sign of the new city???
Actually using their heads for once!

With the recent moves to quash any ridiculous rumours in the press and actual proceedings being taken out against the shi1te lazy journalism that’s being churned out I am impressed

This is the first time I can remember city showing any nounce at all

If this is how the new management structure is going to be operated I for one am impressed and believe it looks good for the future

I think most times its been a player we have sold, and that was usually Dickov!

Jo wasn't allowed to play due to premier league rules not city saying no.
Correct. If Jo had signed permanently for the dippers, City could have asked Everton if they wouldn't mind not playing him, but it would have been Everton who had the final say. A loan signing however, cannot play against the club to which he is registered. If he had played, he would have scored. Certainty.

They changed the system two or three seasons ago to stop players on loan playing against their parent clubs, mainly to avoid any scandals in title run in/crucial cup games, It never used to be a problems, only started happening when the larger prem clubs, such as Arsenal started sending their youngster to struggling Premier League clubs rather than Championship or league 1, 2 sides
