Jo

I cant believe Jo scored twice FFS! lol.

Im now thinking either -

A). We didn't give him time. He should have been allowed more FULL games - You never know, he could have scored the winner in the 90th minute.

OR

B). He's a sulky twat and wasn't happy with something at City.

OR Hughes is a sulky twat whose ego wouldn't let Jo express himself on the pitch.

To be honest he got a penalty and a goal that the keeper should have saved. Of course you still have to put them away but he did miss some decent chances too.

Did anyone else think Everton's 2nd penalty was very harsh?

The ball was b;asted at the defender from about 3 yards, and it hit his hand.

All wrong. It's answer D). City fans are impatient numpties who barrack a young lad in a new country everytime he touches the ball, therefore knocking every last bit of confidence out of him despite his obvious talent.

Might've kown some would still try and blame Hughes though. It's getting so fuckin tedious...

Lesson to be learnt here in my opinion. We're not happy unless we've got a boo boy. It was Vassell, then Jo, now its Richards turn. If we're not careful we'll be driving him out of the club too, and it would upset me even more to see a home grown talent go elsewhere and thrive at a club where the fans arent getting on his back all the time.

Jo,getting a couple for everton was just one of those things, come on! we are city fans shit like this happens to us,i even said to my old lady on Sat' morning i thought he would get a few-just wish i had put money on it at the bookies that morning-oh'well never mind he might not score another one for the rest of the season (he said hopefully ! )

Both pens where harsh, the first was a dive. ok there was a bit of contact but he milked it, the second one as you said can go either way, wouldnt have got either of them if we were playing at Anfield or OT.
Besides that tho Jo led the line well and did some nice things, hope he keeps it up.

everton's prime raison det're (spelling) for the next ten years is to stay up and not get relegated. Present form is the best they can ever acheive with their financial backing, evrything else is downhill. We, however, are on the up!!!!!!!!!!!

I really cannot remember when I last read so much garbage in one line of a thread ! Everton have continually outperformed many teams with a greater spending power ,they are the only team that has broken into the " usual suspects " cartel of a top 4 place in recent years , City have spent hundreds of millions and can't get within 9 points of Everton and this is without Yakubu who scored 21 goals last season ! Except for Shay Given playing , the mighty 'Boro would have walked away with 3 points , And Jo ? hasn't started a game for weeks , then goes to a team who you have just stated are trying to ' stay up an not get releated ' .. and scores twice , showing a glimpse of the form that warranted a £19m fee. I would be amazed if by the end of season, City are within 15 points of Everton...... Everything downhill for Everton ? look at the recent results against the 'sky4' , the only team to have beaten them .. Man Ure ..1 0 .. a penalty at old truffle , But on the positive side ,I can see City being jut like Liverpoo ! ... the next 19 years saying .... " Just wait 'til next season , we can buy our way to the title " ........ but you might get lucky , Ian Holloway + Graham Souness are looking or jobs! dream team !!

Why do you keep thinking you have spent nothing? Your team has cost around 60m and they have been playing together for 2-3 years. Our team cost 100m and, half of our team costing 45m only joind a couple of weeks ago... atleast give time!! FFS you idiot.

And what about the city chances? Just thinking about boro's chance's just shows you know fuck all.

Jo played class for city first 4-5 games. Just watch the chelsea, sunderland, pompey and omonia games where he scored 3 in 5.

David moyes nett spending in 7 years is £18m , eg last year we sold Mc Fadden and AJ for combined £16m , bought Pienaar £2.2m and Fellaini £15m payable over the 5 years of his contract yet we still couldn't spend anything in january ! That's spending nothing (relatively) in my books ,
City's "chances " ? OMG , this is Boro we're talking about , and with Sinatra's money you've had 2 years to build a team not 2 weeks , I've no doubt that in time with the amount of money city have at their disposal they will be able to challenge the Sky4 and Villa ad Everton but certainly not this season and it will take even longer if your board demands instant success and chop + change managers to achieve this prompted by the fans who far too many are too arrogant or too stupid to realise you cannot build a great TEAM !!! in a few months , The arrogance of Liverpool's management and fanbase has held them back for 19 years , it took Ferguson 8 years to build Man utd up to the level they're at now, Chelsea are victims now of their falsely imagined importance , They had 2 great seasons and then expected everyone to bow down to them ... doesn't work like that Roman ! Arsenal will come good again , ..... City have a unique chance to achieve something .. Don't fuk it up by thinking you are a big club before you've even got a reasonably consistent team . and if you want to try to belittle my team , don't be surprised if I bite back .... look at the league table , look at the deserved confidence running through the team , so much so that your " misfit " Jo, by his own admission had his seasons best performance , .... coincidence .. Nah
