I get the impression that nobody who is still at the club had anything to do with the signing of Jo. Wasn't he signed by the Thaksin regime as they were in the process of sacking Sven?
There seemed to be some sort of determination to spend 19M on him by somebody unknown in much the same way that Mark Hughes was determined to overspend on Santa.

does anyone know what was seen in him to warrant anything above £4m nevermind the reported £19m?
