Not his fault he was shit, I suppose, but whoever scouted him and decided he was worth more than a quid has A) no knowledge of anything, and B) the most cushy job in the world. Never took to this player at all, especially with all the face-holding diving he started last season.

Excelled in Russia and put in plenty of performances to convince top football minds such as Roberto Mancini he was worthy of a match here or there. I trust their instincts much more than I do yours.

Agreed, would nice to see him find some form again in Brasil and he might have a shot at getting into the Olympics team again.
