I don't think we will see Sterling and Cancelo on the same side. Cancelo will overlap with a left footed player who will cut inside. Mendy/Angelino and Sterling on the Left with Cancelo and Mahrez/Sane/Bernardo on the Right.

Getting rid of a proper CB and have others who are not specialist in that position is plain stupid,an injury to john or eric for a few weeks and we are reliant on make do players,that is in no way sensible

We did it at LB. I personally don't think that in a Pep team that a "proper" CB is somehow more important than a "proper" LB.
