And each move over the past 5 years has resulted in him becoming one of the top players in Europe.
Sometimes a move is because you are wanted in a better league. Its NOT done him any harm so far only by fucking useless stats in your eyes.

Oakie, your going off the rails here a bit fella.

If you want to scroll back and highlight where I have suggested that any of what you have just said is anything but true.

The one I am not particularly excited about. Definite improvement over Kyle (and Danilo) going forward, because he is more of a wing-back with very good ball-skills, and also he can play LB. But in a pure defensive role I would always pick Kyle (and Danilo). Let see how he react to being inverted and making defensive runs longer than 40 yards.
Cancelo won’t be asked to play in the same way as Walker, I doubt there will be many 40 yard sprints back to stop a counter attack.

So why make the point then ref his short term career/s at his various clubs ?

Because I thought it was an interesting thing to share. Wasn’t using it as a tool to beat him with.

I rate the lad highly, and hope Pep can get some longevity out of him.

I have to say I'm the opposite. The last attacking fullback Pep invested in was Dani Alves, who not only went on to become the most decorated player in history, but was as important tactically to Pep's Barca side as Xavi or Messi.

He can play RB and RW, he has the ball playing ability to come inside, he can make passes that you'd associate more with attacking midfielders than fullbacks.

I think Pep loves Walker, he plays him in pretty much every game he can, so spending basically €60m on Cancelo isn't just to replace Danilo as 2nd choice RB. I think he's seen something in this kid and has big plans for him.

for fucks sake why. surely even from a business perspective the single digits are the most marketable.

i mean by that logic he should have "27 + danilo"
From City’s point of view they make more money from double digit numbers as they charge £5 per number on shirt sales. That’s the business model here. They prefer to sign players with longer names too, hence the transfer of Jo, and the second signing of Wright Phillips.

So that’s why we got rid of Kante - “now the biting makes sense”

And he can play left back.

And why Rodri has Rodrigo on his shirt ;)
