Just depth i think and options. Walker fell of the pace at a time a little last season with no like for like replacement available. Pep likely saw this as somewhere that he considered a hole in the squad. The intention to have him take over primarily in a year or two will likely not be far from his mind though.Genuine question, does kyle need to up his game and especially his concentration or is this his replacement??
Nah, completely different players. Think much better, right sided versions of Clichy and Kolarov. One defensive wall and one attacking knife.Genuine question, does kyle need to up his game and especially his concentration or is this his replacement??
Can see both Walker and Cancelo playing at times when Mendy is fit with us going 3 at the back. Maybe something likeJust depth i think and options. Fully agree bud, there are certainly systems where both can be accommodated without "making it work", it is simply an equally good viable option. Can see both Walker and Cancelo playing at times when Mendy is fit with us going 3 at the back. Maybe something like

Good analogy. I can also see the comparisons with Dani Alves.Nah, completely different players. Think much better, right sided versions of Clichy and Kolarov. One defensive wall and one attacking knife.
If Clichy or Kolarov were ever knives... they were bent, rusty bladed, jagged ones... those occasionally cut and do the job in a pinch but normally as in the case of the tools mentioned: dissapoint when the job needing be done is one that needs done with some manner of consistency.Nah, completely different players. Kolarov was fine when used solely as an attacking full back with GazBaz covering him. Mancini got a serious tune out of Clichy in a purely defensive full back role. The lads we have now are much better and more akin to the Zaba/Richards switch around (pre the injuries Micah suffered and his strange obsession with bulking up) but with more stylistic differences. Cancelo is a top class attacking fullback that can drift into any attacking position and do damage, Walker is a defensive brick wall. Both Micah and Zaba had a bit of both but were top quality. What we'll have now is more focused and tactically useful quality. If Clichy or Kolarov were ever knives... they were bent, rusty bladed, jagged ones... those occasionally cut and do the job in a pinch but normally as in the case of the tools mentioned: dissapoint when the job needing be done is one that needs done with some manner of consistency.
Nobody called this cnut a taxi yet? jesus christ bm. Get your jacket Deano you soft bugger xDHope he remembered to Cancelo his magazine subscriptions before leaving Italy
He has a 3/1 kill/death ratio on battlefield 5 so yeah he is alright. Is he any good?
He's the signing I've been most exited about this summer, albeit Rodri being the most important. Is he any good?
