Job at City

Would love to have this job, really would. But I don't have the experience required and I am only 16. I'm looking for part time work atm but there isn't any out there where I live. I would love to work at City, but not living in Manchester is a bit of a problem. Matchdays would be perfect. If I could just get a crappy paid job just to look after the grounds every day for the rest of the summer hols there I would lol.

do you know what this job involves? Is it working with one of those hand held pda's outside the ground, helping people find out what entrance they need to use?

"Required to attend every home game this season"

Not so bad eh?!
What it actually says:

"Required to work at all home first team matches throughout the season."

Not quite the same. It's just saying you've got to be available on Saturdays, Sundays, Mondays, and Wednesdays. I doubt you get to watch anything.

used to work at maine road back in the 80's as a matchday steward....got paid about £8, but always managed to blag one of the easy jobs like family enclosure

one of the best jobs was perimeter gate steward, downside was you didnt get to see much of the match, plus side was about £20-30 in tips for letting people blag in

There is absolutley no clue about what the job is and my first thought was that it was holding one of those PDA thingys. If it's to do with the 'matchday experience' then there is a good chance that you could be doing stuff while the game is on to prepare for half time and full time and that you would hardly see any of the game.

If anyone gets any info it would be interesting to see what it involves.

Chances are, you'd miss at least some of the match, maybe the whole lot. The stadium doesn't come to a complete standstill whilst the game's on!
