That's like saying it was an elephant with wings. Just because you can breathe under water does not a mermaid make. Have you never heard of a muff diver ?

I refused to watch Splash as only 12 year old pre pubescents watched it and I wasn't. What I do know is my great great grandma was a sailor who sailed all 7. She told me that she had seen several mermaids and all of them had a fishes tail.

Are you calling my great great grandma a liar.

Oh and she also said she was a pirate.

No as they do have fins in the sea where your gtreat great grandma would have seen them.

And I have never seen splash but am aware of the story.

Also I do believe there was a folk tale in arabian nights where the mermaids were also shapeshifters and used to come on land for a shag

Yes it was and I sympathise with you totally -Joe 90 was the standard insult -before you even knew people.

I’ve started wearing Bins myself in the last 5 years and having dreaded it almost immediately I took to my new Image for want of a better word and love it now. Makes you look more intellectual you know!!

Joe 90 was a genuine attempt to make speccy twats feel a bit less like outcasts at a time when as a kid you just had NHS bins. Ungrateful four-eyed cunts do nothing but whinge it seems.
