Joe Cole anyone? [Merged]

Re: Joe Cole

Cole is not getting an improved or very long deal at Chelsea from what is banded about.

If he was offered a 2 year deal with a slight increase it would be closer to £10M than £40M.

Signing on fees have been replaced by the "loyalty payments" it would seem.

Re: Joe Cole

Whilst it's plausible we'll be in for Cole in summer, those figures are obviously nonsense. To be honest, I don't really see where he'd fit into our team.

Do you ever sleep Ric? lol.

Re: Joe Cole

Nope, I have two young children so haven't slept properly for two years.

Re: Joe Cole

Joe Cole is a top player , although injuries come his way a bit too often for my liking , and i dare say his too ........

i'd love to see him at City , but talk of wages of that scale are ridiculous.

Re: Joe Cole

The same people who've been saying we need attacking threat down the middle for the past 9 months are now asking why we need him?!

I'd be chuffed with signing Joe Cole. Those figures are ridiculous but they won't be true and even if they were, it's not my money - the owners will probably start running us like a prudent football club eventually but they hardly have any reason to be in a hurry do they? Splash silly money about for the first few years if that's what we need as a stepping stone. I'm sure they know what they're doing.

Cole for down the middle and Milner to replace Rigsby/Robinho too.

Re: Joe Cole

morning reports suggest City have offered a 4yr deal worth £40m.
Thats £180k per week.
