Joe Hart...another Golden Glove?

De Gea eyes goal-den finish
Sir Alex Ferguson is backing David de Gea to have the last laugh on his critics – and end the season with an incredible double top. Manchester United have already left City on the ropes in the title chase after establishing an eight-point lead at the top of the Premier League. Now United keeper De Gea, 21, is pushing City’s Joe Hart for the coveted Golden Glove – awarded to the keeper with the most top-flight clean sheets. De Gea is currently on 10 shut-outs – three behind leader Hart – with six games remaining. But while stuttering City have failed to keep a clean sheet in their last five league games, De Gea has not been beaten for seven hours and 33 minutes in the top flight

Haha fuck off slurgie.

It would have been a bit of a joke it De Gea had won it - bizzarely, of the top 12 teams in the Premier League, only 2 have seen more goals conceded on their own ground than United ... not often you can say that of the team that's top.

At his acceptance speech, he would presumably have regaled us with stories of his incredible exploits when he kept City down to only 6 at OT, and went even better to keep Everton down to only 4, etc.

Hart 15
Krul 14
Szczesny 13
Vorm 13
Friedel 12
Reina 11
They're the only ones who could win it (Reina can't do better than coming joint top).

Congratulations Joe,

The Golden Glove for the second time in as many years, - well and truly deserved.

bravo!
