Joe Hart at joke city.

Maybe you guys can't read, but he implied his hands were freezing and it affected the contact on the ball as he couldn't feel it!

Agreed...I dont think we understand just how cold goalkeepers get in those conditions, all the jumping about in the world on the spot isnt going to change that..reflexes are seriously impaired too so mistakes will undoubtedly happen..

To all those who were there wrapped up to fuck in the stands but still freezing cold....Imagine how both keepers felt. ;)

My hands were freezing but I got more of the ball than Joe , bad error IMO.

You can hardly compare wearing thick layers of clothing to a football kit in minus temperatures, Bill!!

If he says 'he couldn't feel how much contact he got on the ball', well that should tell you something!!

*edit*

Sorry Sam, I should have read to the end of the thread!!

Good post, by the way!!

As much as I love NDJ he shouldn't have played against Stoke to begin with. Barry or Yaya (not sure if he was injured though) should've creating a solid unit, somebody with height rather than De Jong who was ineffective during the throw-ins (their main threat).

Also I agree Hart should've saved Etherington's goal.
