Because we won the league and, specifically for this ad, because Joe is England's keeper. I was in Malaysia earlier this year and was told by football mad locals that City weren't in anyone's focus until we won the cup but now are becoming very popular. Rags, Liverpool and Arsenal are still the most followed teams with Chelsea as well as City still a bit behind. Maybe there's something in this business of red being a lucky or dynamic colour in the region. Why else would anyone want to follow Liverpool or Arsenal ;)

Saw it in Thailand for the first time last night so it must be a regional South East Asia thing.

Good to see City making inroads .....

The Indonesia OSC has 5,549 followers on Twitter! Bloody hell, it could have more members than any other supporters club for all we know. It's strange because I'm not sure even one Indonesian Blue posts on Bluemoon do they? I wonder if they sing our songs or have their own?

there was one one glory hunters thread(s)

And official MCFC Indonesian supporters club has 23k followers. Not half bad as United one has 150k with all their isstry ;)

'Cuz we're all glory hunters lol.

kidding. It's because:
1. Like the rest of the world minus united fans, we hate United.
2. Inter lost a lot of fans recently.
3. Premier league coverage>Seria A Coverage, LaLiga Coverage, Bundesliga Coverage, Heck, Even Indonesian League Coverage.
4. We won the league.
5. We have great players.

So... Yeah. It's because we're all glory hunters. (I've been a City Fan from the start though)

We were pretty dissapointed when City decided to visit Malaysia though.

Note: NEVER say Indonesia and Malaysia are Equal/Malaysia is better in front of an Indonesian. Even if it is true.
