Joe Hart (continued)

Vinny got it spot on in his post match interview for me when he said he was more than happy with either Joe or Pants in between the sticks as they are both top class, despite the interviewer desperately trying to get him to pick one over the other.

Joe did the job he is paid to do yesterday and he knows if he fucks up, its back to the bench for a while and its exactly how it should be.

Joe much better yesterday. Still wish he'd move the ball out quicker but that's only a minor issue.

He certainly looks much more assured.

Cant really say he's over his bad run until he has a few Ribery type shots to save and done the sweeper thing effectively. But the signs are promising

Really pleased to see Joe back. Didn't think it'd be so soon. Can't argue with the way Pellegrini has dealt with the situation.

He made a couple of great reflex saves which were obviously vital but that's never been the issue, his shot-stopping has been pretty consistent. I was more impressed with the way he rushed off his line two or three times and got to the ball. There was one in the first half with Henderson and the one at the end, where Suarez got booked, that particularly stood out. Promising signs.

Played great as I knew he would when he came back in, couple of crucial saves. I've got a major problem with is distribution though as it's so frustrating to watch, makes rolling the ball out seem like rocket science. Mignolet was just giving it to any player with a couple yards of space yesterday (admittedly we didn't press as high as them) and that's what he needs to do, not overthink it.
