The debate continues on SSN about whether Joe Hart will get played domestically this season, with many doubting Mancini will give him the chance. So here's the question:

Would you sacrifice Shay Given to give Joe Hart the chance he needs to become a City legend, or risk the possibility that playing Shay Given this season would unsettle Hart to a point where he's after first team football?

Yeah that's the view i share aswell.

Joe can learn a lot from Shay, so keep both and play the one that's in form.

It would be madness to let either go.

for me they are both like each other

they dont come of the line at a set piece or corners and thats there down fall great shot stopers but both could use there box more and come out and catch the ball and give the defence a bit more help

but for me play the 1 on form and fit and thats HART

Im all for Joe being number 1 but we could play 60-70 game so joe could play in league, shay in the cup..

Joe used this OS Tour Video to send his message loud and clear.
Kept repeating, "I only want to be playing".
So work hard young man and make Mancini's decision easy.

Neither will be happy on the bench, but my gut says Shay will probably be our number 1 next year, with Joe on the bench. The year after that, who knows.

Joe has been told he''l be first choice, that's why he's stayed.

Shay's houlder is too bad to be playing every week so he's accepted this.

this sounds great in theory, but.... If either play just in league, then the other will stand far better chance of winning a medal. League goalie must surley consider themself #1 so would that then mean once we get to semi finals the #1 would want the cup games as well? We messed around with goalies in Svens season, we need to pick a #1 and stick with them. For me this is Joe
