Sunderland caught up on our trick around the last quarter of the game though, but this too will have its contingency from Pep.
Disgrace starting Willy ahead of Hart. Make your statement Pep by all means but not on one of the few players who gives his all to the club. Hart could have done everything Willy done and more no one can disagree with that.
Dropped for fucking Cabellero though really?!!!! If we had signed a keeper Pep wanted maybe but that's taking the piss.
How has Caballero developed a reputation for being "crap"?
He won us the League Cup last year, and he has always looked like a good goalkeeper to me.
Did he give his all though?
I think Hart is good enough. Perhaps Willy has shown more in training, or maybe Joe will play in midweek, but I wouldn't say he is not good enough to play in Peps system. Perhaps Guardiola feels he has to improve certain aspects.No.
It's not taking the piss. It's selecting the goalkeeper that follows instruction. This really isn't a difficult concept to grasp but it seems many are really having a hard time with it.
You need to put your loyalty to Joe Hart to the side. Just for a minute. Then you begin to understand that this has been done for footballing reasons and essentially comes down to one simple thing. He isn't good enough to play in Peps system.
It's been done to death now. Joe didn't start today and personally I think that should be the end of the debate.
Because up until that cup final, he played garbage in every match prior making at least 2 or 3 gaffes a game, and being directly at fault for a goal per game at least pretty much. He was turd. Then he turned it on against the dippers. That's about it.
I don't rate him, think he's dog shit personally. But I'm not the manager so woe is me, I hope he does well until we find whoever our number 1 is.
I'm happy he had that expression. Any competitor should. This doesn't mean he wants us to lose. He just thinks he is better. And that's fine.He gave him high fives because that's the sportsmanlike thing to do.
What I'm just saying is after we conceded, you could really see how Joe felt about being dropped.
For me, he had a clear, apparent expression on his face that he couldn't hold back if you paid him.
