I actually raised an eyebrow when Joe called De Bruyne "our main man" in an interview recently. Nothing against Kev, but that sort of comment has been exclusively reserved for David and Sergio. I didn't understand what to make of it at the time, but after seeing his interview today, and subtle dig at Kun, I think Joe tried to make the point to the old attacking 'spine' (Silva, Kun and Yaya) that they need to be offering more in the way of effort and commitment. Just my thoughts. I'd hardly call it a rift or bust up or whatever. But it's clear to me he's been feeling left down for some time. Joe should become our captain this summer, in light of Kompany's injuries and Zab probably leaving.
