blimey, that's a fairly strong comment, martin.
exactly which of the posters on this thread do you believe is behaving like a rag?
Well, Calum I think my post was self explanatory engage your eyes and your brain(read what I said and then read back a good few pages see if you can spot a few) a bit more boy! ;)

A pic of a broken screen in the tunnel, gossip joe did it,the media would be all over it so it's a bullshit twitter rumour imo

Karen you probably need to step outside for 5 mins and contemplate the possibility that Joe isn't being done some massive dis-service here. We simply have to back the manager and it's very clear that Hart will be going for (if nothing else) footballing reasons.

Footballing reasons aside, he's one of a bunch of players who had a weak boss last season and collectively let us all down with the level of performances. We also have to wonder if our consistent inability to find to find a partner for Kompany, despite spending millions on half a dozen cb's who seem to move on and play very well, may have something to do with who is organising the defense behind them.

Joe will forever be a legend to us, but ultimately he has gotten too comfortable in recent years and a fresh face is probably right for us.

If I was Txixi, I'd be offering him to Juve in part exchange for Bonucci and that may suit all parties as Buffon needs an heir.

boy!?
hahaha.
how very charming.
I'm sorry if you found that condescending, Calum...

Anyway as I said the criticism is fine but showing contempt and personal insults nothing to do with the goings on or his game is uncalled for and I detect Rag wummery.

This is two seperate things, pep not wanting him which is fair enough and there is trashing him and putting out malicious rumours on twitter,it's the 2nd bit that is pissing me off,no need to do that to someone who has achieved so much and been part of our success for 10yrs

Players come and go,we know that very well,Joe Corrigan was the first keeper I grew up with followed by a helping hand from Alex Williams, but now I will raise you,Perry Suckling,Andy Dibble,Eike Immel and not knowing how old you are, them guys were absolute dog shit compared to what Joe Hart has done and been for us,he will go down as a great in my eyes, and many others I'm sure
I'm old enough to remember all of the above , Andy dibble was alright but you forgot Tony Coton who was better than all of them ....

There's a bit of a contradiction in Joe not being good enough for us, but being an heir to Buffon! (I know you weren't really suggesting that, it was more tongue in cheek about an heir).
I know Joe's very popular, I quite like him myself, but I think it's all about context. If we announced he was part of an exchange deal for Messi, most City fans wouldn't carry his bags to Barca! It just feels a bit of a sickener because most hadn't really contemplated him going just yet, and haven't had enough time to imagine life beyond him. I couldn't imagine life without Tevez, but we coped.

Hart is not city through and through like some seem to be stating, I don't remember any quotes / interviews where he came across as REALLY loving the club

Compare this to Zabba or Kompany, true blue legends who you can tell would and have bled for the shirt

I guess he's taken his lead from his big mate rug head, make out you love the club and its fans when really they are just their to stoke your massive ego and wage packet

He has too many faults to be our number one going forward, thanks Joe you'll go down in history for your part in the resurgence of this great club, but you will never be seen as a great I'm afraid
He's said he loves this club many times
