At the end of the day, Pep determines the way the team plays, not the players either individually or collectively. Few of us actually know what's going on behind the scenes at the club (thank God) but hopefully there has now been a realistic and honest acceptance of the situation from Joe. Maybe there has been from the moment Pep arrived. There have been lots of suggestions that he is arrogant, that may be true, but I tend to think the guy just doesn't want to play sweeper/keeper. I don't think he enjoys it, I don't think he believes he's capable of playing it, that it highlights his weaknesses not his strengths and that it will impact on both his club and international future. If that's the case then he needs a move, if I'm wrong and he's playing the 'big I am', then he needs to move. Either way there's no denying he's been a great servant to the club and should leave with our good wishes.
 
If Joe is leaving, which looks certain, then I wish him good luck wherever he ends up. I'm not going to get involved in slating him based on speculation. He's been a great keeper for us & I hope he gets a decent move, if Pep no longer wants him. I'll remember him for some amazing displays during his time here.

Cheesy is as close to being IN as journos get at City and he wouldn't have reported as such if it wasn't true as he'd be biting the hand that feeds him.

Agreed. He will be a great buy for a lot of teams and he's been great for us. Sad to see him go but Pep knows what he is doing.
