Being so detail oriented, I think Pep already watched hours of videos of Joe beforehand. I mean he decided that Mangala is not his thing pretty early, not even a chance there.

He was playing in the premier league for birmingham.
He was and voted their player of the season. When he is busy he is great. When he is quiet and not much to do he lacks concentration and makes errors.

I actually agree with what one of the pundits said recently, was it Carragher? Maybe Joe should have been proactive when it was clear Pep was joining, and worked on changing his game. It is pretty clear to me what Pep is looking for in a goalkeeper and perhaps Joe should have spent more time looking at the keepers that were playing for Pep and try to adjust.
Do you think he had some dodgy magazines with pages sticking together in there?
My theory is that Pep wanted to see what Joe had in his locker. Then made a decision based on what he found.

I in a way i hope Joe does not play tonight, if he does then he will have Bravo watching from the stands and all the country watching every move he makes, would be under a great pressure, but then again if it is his last game then we as fans need to say goodbye in a proper way, no easy answer.
