can someone fill me on some detail; is Torino renowned to have a system that might benefit Joe in the long run for Pep's ways?

I'd say no. If the problem was that Pep wants a goalkeeper skillfull with the feet and who can take part of the beginning of the playing develpment, Mihajlovic is the exact opposite. He plays with a very offensive 4-3-3 system with a fast vertical development of the play, very far from the typical ultra defensive italian system. We hopefully will score many goals but opponents will probably score many as well. It's a quite unbalanced system and the goalkeeper has the only function of goalkeeping. I think they catched immediately the opportunity to have a first class goalkeeper like Hart because with this system the GK has a lot of work and can be crucial.

so what is the point of Joe's loan, other than 1st team football?

does he hold the vision that he can ride out Pep's contract with a series of loans and then return to City in 3 seasons' time?

i dont get this situation.

Quite simple. When it all blew up, there was little time to find a club. Without wishing to disrespect Torino, it was a case of "any port in a storm".

i think it's safe to say Joe's career is over at City. i am guessing 1st team football in a decent football club as Torino in Serie A for a year and then sort his future out with sufficient time in the summer transfer window.

Next year options ? I'd say Arsenal with Cech 34 as he would obviously want Champions league . If he hopefully impresses in Italy , Buffon is 38 ..who knows ?

hmm yeah, i guess.

I had harboured some sort of hope that he would stay at City as 2nd choice and learn Pep's ways, maybe force his way back in as 1st choice before the season even ended. But i guess that was a little rose-tinted and he wants 1st team football.

Thanks. About them...well I wouldn't talk about a real hate but a sort of dislike, cause united from here is seen more as a national team than a local team, a team with fans all over the world who follow because is a winning team, something that is very similar to juve...so considering that we strongly hate juve and united fans in our vision are very similar to juve fans, we can say that, based on commutative property (I don't know if it's correct in english) we basically hate them lol. Anyway, when we talk about manchester, we surely identify with city fans and when we talk about you we comment that we were so similar (long time losers with a winning team to share the town with), now you got what you waited for decades, will it ever come also for us? If I think about winning the league battling with juve with a last second goal (like aguer's one) I can feel the heart attack coming...
Now that would be great "Belottiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiii"! (Without the heart attack though!)

Perfect senario for me, joe does really well for torino , juve want him and we do a swap deal involving joe and Dybala lovely jubbly :)

Switching from Toro to Juve involves getting bodyguards to walk in town...a bit exhagerated but not so far from reality.
