Nope, I dont think you are ever going to wish a city player well... Dont think you need to rate him as top 6 (But obviously you are completly wrong!) Just respect other fans who miss him, instead of telling them he was shite.
You've just made that up. I've never said he was shite. And I have wished him well, people seem to be upset I don't put him in the top ten bracket.

Miss him? He's a highly paid professional footballer, he's not dead and he's not an ex-Mrs you can't live without.

I grew out of that saying a good twenty years ago like most grown ups.

Listen you started with the insults, calling me a gaping fanny,so I called you a cock, just take a breath and have a look back what you said in this thread, you have made most comments than others, mainly negative, for your personal reasons as you say,so let it go now then eh ? But thing is you don't and keep getting up posters noses, you have your wish,he's gone,so why you still feel the need to comment against a positive post is beyond me.

Move onto another thread (most people would have if they had got their wish),but you have not,why is this ?

Mind you it is not the first time me and you have had a disagreement on here is it,but then that's what forums are for I suppose,as for growing up ? I'm in my 40's mate and have seen and done loads, and am happy as fuck, and more than entitled to my opinion, wouldn't you agree ?

Anyone who picks de gay boy as a top 10 keeper is always completely unable to back it up with stats/evidence, it's just something that people keep repeating because the media say its true. I have yet to see anything that isn't a youtube highlight reel or some fucking idiot member of the british press saying De gea is good or just basing it on "Widly accepted knowledge". And yet anyone who argues for Joe can provide stats and figures to back it up.

De Gea is not, never has been and probably will never be in the top 10 keepers in the world.
And I'm sick of the sheep in here dragging him into any goalkeeper argument because they've been told repeatedly he is.

As for joe; I wish him all the best in Italy, he served us well and deserves success, Thank you Joe
Interesting post but essentially bollocks.

FourFourTwo did a statistical analysis of PL keepers at the end of last season based on various measures and the top 3 were Cech, Schmeichel and De Gea in that order.

So if you (anyone who cares to read and reply) were a betting man, at the end of next season what would you say will happen with Joe?

I think he will enjoy the passion of the fans but ultimately want a perm move to a prem team and i could see that being Liverpool (sickeningly). They have the least stable keeper situation out of teams Joe would consider imo, albeit at the bottom of his list. Hopefully West ham do well and come in for him. I can't see him in a City top again as long as Pep is around tbh.

You're a muppet if you don't think calling him De Gay Boy is anything other than pejorative. Otherwise, why would you even do it. To try and then say the problem lies with me is idiotic, just grow up in future.

Well yes it's subjective after all isn't it. Just as you rate Joe above DDG. You got proof that Joe is better than De Gea?
Got a question for you mate, a poster thought you'd told him Fetters name was Vic, I've always known him as Steve, he could have lied mind

I comment when idiots start handwringing and calling the manager for 'making a huge' mistake as its a forum for opinions and I'm of the opinion that that view is sentiment led drivel.

I've said many times that Joe is a very good keeper, I don't necessarily like him as a person but I'm not too arsed about the private characters of any of our players. I also hope he does very well at Torino and I'd be made up if he can iron out his flaws and come back in a couple of years and take back over from Bravo.

As for name calling, who was picked out my post as horrible and embarrassing as you didn't agree with eh?

As I say, send me a pm if you want to continue attacking me as opposed to my view on the goalkeeping situation. It's boring me so must be boring anyone else reading this.

I won't be too sad to see Joe go to be honest.

He knew full well that Pep like's goalkeepers who are comfortable with the ball at their feet, Joe had from December/January (when Pep was officially announced to takeover from the corpse) to at least try to improve his skills with the ball, but he was either unable or unwilling to adapt his game, so he has to go.

Joe just doesn't fit in with Pep's style and it's clear that the board will back Pep from now on and not Joe or any other player at the club (no matter what that player has done for the club in the past).

West Ham might but what's their situation with Adrian? He seems to do well for them. Note that I'm not saying he's better than Joe.

As I said above, he could very well help Torino make the Champions League next year. If that happens, I could see them making the move permanent as long as he's happy.
