I was deployed in Afghanistan at the time we won the league in 2012, and had to make do with a tiny little TV watching the QPR game.

My Mrs sent an email to the club with a picture of me out in the desert and I got a hand written letter sent out from Joe Hart to invite us to the Etihad when I got back to the UK.

Absolute top bloke from my experience and will always be a key player in our transition into becoming the successful team we are today.

I've said this before, but his anticipation was out of this world. He'd amble on over to where the second ball was going to drop before the first ball had even been kicked

Weaned a large part of our supporters off the idea that a midfielder had to be either running around throwing himself into tackles or getting forward scoring goals. Gazbaz was just quietly top-class while doing neither.

I like Joe, and from 2010-2013 he was genuinely world class in his position. The biggest shame is his peak came early, and lasted a relatively short period of time.

I always liked Joe, thought he was a great keeper for us and top attitude, a winner. Like many I was pissed off when Pep discarded him, especially as Bravo was shit, but like almost every decision in football, it turns out that Pep was right!
