massive debate in my house at the moment, people are saying it was joe harts fault for the goal and im trying to convince them that even thou joe hart shouldnt of come out that far, that toure's experience should of told him to kick the ball in to row z. ive looked at it over and over and toure knew that kalinic was next to him and its getting hard to understand why he just didnt kick it out ???

It was clearly Joe Harts fault ..... he was too far out , and i can only think that he completely lost the plot for a moment.

By charging out he threw Toures mind into confusion , his actions put Toure in two minds ..... there was no need to do that ....... if Hart had of stayed on his line Toure would have dealt with it , because he'd have HAD to!

It proved to be a ridiculous decison by Joe Hart , and in my view a totally needless one too!

The way Toure stopped and jumped out of the way suggests that he got a call from Hart

Maybe ..... but the fact remains that Hart shouldn't have been that far out to 'call' to anybody ........ it was needless .......... he put Toure in two minds , when he didn't need to ....... and that caused the confusion!

Toure didn't head the ball back past Hart , so he can't be to blame in any way ......... if Joe Hart hadn't of come racing out , the goal almost certainly WOULDN'T have happened.

Absolutely no doubt in my mind whatsoever that this was a bad goalkeeping misjudgement ......

I have a little feeling that if Touré would have been captain then Hart wouldve stayed back.

Anyway, Hart is still roughly 10 years from his prime, he will make mistakes, but Touré has buckets of experience that should have told him to get rid if he was unsure.

I think Hart was slightley more to blame though as I could tell from row z that Touré had that covered, but as I said before, Hart is young and will make mistakes.

harts fault....but i forgive him.. .lesson to be learned ....when you leave your area joe...you take...man ..ball..everything thats there .no matter who hears you ...wipe everything out

I think it's Kolo the Clown's fault to be perfectly honest. He just refuses to take any responsibility and yesterday was a prime example and it cost us dearly. Any centre half worth his salt whether it's in the Champions League or the Conference would have smashed it as far away as possible and debated the situation afterwards. Hart shouldn't be that far out fair enough but it's still the defenders responsibility to clear danger. I tell you one thing for sure, if that was Terry or Vidic (sorry I'm disgusted in myself for even mentioning that ****) then that ball would still be travelling into space now.

Rule 1 - Kolo, there's a well known phrase - "IF IN DOUBT FUCKING SMASH IT".
Rule 2 - When the ball is in the air Kolo, "FUCKING HEAD IT" before it bounces.
Rule 3 - If you think you're going to get a kick in the face "FUCKING HEAD IT ANYWAY" you soft ****.

Think Joe Hart might have been reading some of the criticism thrown Given's way in not getting off his line. Perhaps, Joe thought we meant the edge of the penalty line. I expect him to be up chasing loose balls on the halfway line in Salzburg.

Serious error of judgement on Joe's part. The fallout, though, might lead Kolo to begin to wonder what Hart will do next.

I blame Mancini for his totally defensive tactics. If he hadn't played two centre halfs Hart would have had a clear run to the ball.
