Joe Hart please come back

I bet when the pfa awards are announced in may, when it comes to team of the season it will be Given who will be chosen to be in goal and not Hart.
Mancini reckons he's in the top 3 keepers in the world and i agree with him.

Reina or Van Der Sar will be in net for the team of the season

if given was that good he would of been signed by one the big clubs in europe.

he is just a average keeper.
who cant kick very well.
never comes for crosses.
and makes every defence in front of him look shite.

what the fuck are you on ???

end of the day the only thing given is good at is shot stopping, the rest of his game is very average.

Joe will be our number one within two seasons. But still needs more experience imo. Remember, though, that the 'home grown' rules are coming. Imagine Johnson's signing was with one eye on this

The thing that shits me most about Given is the vaudevillian ways he falls over after a goal has been scored... check out just about any goal scored from close range, starting with Rooney's at the CC semi.

haha, out of all the areas of goalkeeping.. the bit that rubs you up the wrong way the most is his static fall to the ground after a goal's been scored?

One area? which one? as i can name a few.

Please go ahead.

Crosses, free kicks, corners, through balls behind the defence, communication, organising his back four, distribution.

He's a fantastic shot stopper with a great work ethic... but we're currently suffering in some of his wekaer areas.

Sorry but dealing with high balls from set-pieces is the only true weakness in his game. The other weaknesses you mention, I can't agree with, but, hey, I could be wrong and you right!!

Let's hope he starts on a run of clean sheets starting on Tuesday.
