Joe Hart Speaking To MCFC

Have spoken to a former City Exec this morning who told me that they are concerned that Given's injury may mean he won't be the same keeper. They see Hart as the future and that his time may be here now.

At last, the voice of reason. Well played that man; truly wonderful news.

I have to say that the way I see it myself.

Hart will start the season as number 1, if he plays at the top of his game Given will be on the bench when he comes back.

For what my opinions worth, I believe Given has had this injury before. Now I'm no expert, but my better half is a physiotherapist, she thinks that even if the operation is a success the risk of him doing it time and again will soar.

So what do we do, risk Given and almost wait for him to do it again? Or get Hart in as Number 1 and let Given sit on the bench and maybe explore his options?

It's funny you should talk about Given perhaps carrying that injury, because Nielsen kind of alluded to that in his post Arsenal interview.

if he doesnt want to come back and he keeps acting like this then he can piss off to a mid table team..ffs stop whinging..id play for man city than birmingham city anyday

We really need to cut out all the sentimental shite.

Sorry Shay, but c'mon.

Having a very serious injury at his ripe age? 1-2 seasons if we're lucky.
He will be worse.

Hart won keeper of the year at 23, says it all.
We cannot lose him, it'd be suicide! he must be our #1
