This one kinda hurts...but it’s best for all seeing him cry at the end really shows how much he loved this club. Thank you joe and best of luck

Hard video to watch. He appears quite emotional about how things have developed, not bitter just disillusioned. Hope he can become a fixture and get back on track.

In all the football I've ever watched for any team the best two goalkeeping performances are Hart v Dortmund and Barcelona. Seems like a lovely bloke as well by all accounts.

Good luck Joe. Hope he gets an amazing reception when he comes back.

Fantastic signing at that money. Good luck to him & hopefully he can perform in the Europa League as well as he always used to for us in the Champions League!

Thanks for everything, Joe. Best of luck with your new club. You will always be a legend at City. I hope you find your best form & I hope you'll always be remembered as the truly great goalkeeper we all saw at City.

Thank you, Joe, for all you have done at City.

Mrs Vienna and I were at the game against Sheffield Blades when you made your first-team début; it was only our second game together and we watched you grow into the outstanding goalkeeper you are today.

You had many fantastic performances in a City shirt, but my favourite was the opening game of the 2010/11 season away to Tottenham. You were absolutely outstanding that day. Your best individual save, IMHO, was the one at Swansea a couple of years ago.

All the very best for the rest of your career and whenever you come back to Etihad, you will receive a rousing cheer from both of us.

Was it sporting where he nearly scored that header? Probs my fave moment of his. standing ovation when he returns I hope.

All the best to a city legend

So many great moments and saves

Two stick out for me. One from a free kick by Payet at Upton Park and one from a header by Fernandez at Swansea... one of the best saves I’ve EVER seen
Yep , that save at Swansea was incredible. From the moment it left Fernandez’s head i was resigned to it being a goal, and then Joe somehow made that save, definitely one of the best( if not the best) i’ve seen. Didn’t the BBC come up with some BS to stop it being entered into Save of the Season to ensure their beloved De Gea won it?

Yeah.. it happened on the Sunday and the nominations had been put together on the Saturday... even mark chapman presenting MOTD was embarrassed explaining that one

From a Burnley forum "For the first time in my lifetime Burnley can probably claim to have one of the best players in the world in their position."
