Seriously though, it's ridiculous money to be paying a 24 year old, hell anyone for that matter. Like I said, they've a piss easy job, minimum wage is the way to go.

If it's such a piss easy job why aren't me or you playing on Sunday for City then?

They are bloody good at the sport, but there are plenty people who are as good at their own sport/job who don't get paid in the same league of money.

I just think for playing a sport, the money is ludicrous and undeserving. It could go to better places.

That was highlighting how old the players will be when Brazil 2014 comes round. I had to check it myself when i saw AJ and Micah were printed as being 26.

It's all very interesting though. I mean, 90k for Hart sounds about right. But what do you pay Kompany and De Jong? Surely it has to be 120-150k+? I'd be insulted if as captain and the most consistent player I was offered half of what the top 4 or 5 earners were on.

You will always pay more in wages for your attacking midfielders and strikers though. Defenders can never expect to earn the same as a striker although there job is just as important its just the way it is . VK and NDJ will prob get about 120k a week each but NDJ must be on about 90k as it is

Lets just stick them all on minimum wage, see how they cope.

As for Hart, he was never the most grounded of players was he. We saw how he was when he got complacent last season, now with Given gone, and that much wage being thrown at him....God help us.

there is no other goal keeper in the world i'd rather have.
