Joe Hart

One of the problems with the keeper playing it out from the back, is having the technical ability to do so. When Roger's was here he got Craig Gordon to do this and it was a heart stopping moment every fucking time. He gave the ball away many times and it caused us losing goals. If the keeper doesnt have the ability and you want to go this way, you need a keeper who can master it. Expecting keepers to be able to do this, as Roger's did, was asking for trouble. Big Joe is one of those keepers. The system changed and he was a square peg trying to fit into a round hole. Ta ra Joe.
It’s akin to playing David Silva up top and yelling “On yer ‘ead pal”.

Not much interest at the moment, looking pretty bleak for Joe. The Celtic link seemed to be the main one with traction and that's fizzled out. He's probably either gonna have to accept being a backup somewhere or maybe move to the championship. Maybe he can get a move to a random foreign club of some kind but yeah. You fear the worst for him at the moment.

Apparently he is expected to be starting the North London derby with Lloris being unwell.

Very high profile game could get his career back on track if he has a good one, or be the nail in the coffin if he has a shocker.

Joe had many great performances and pulled off many great saves for us, but his best game, IMHO, was the first match of the 2010/11 season against Spurs.

He was absolutely outstanding that day.xxxxx

His best save was against Swansea.

Was right behind the save at Swansea, best I've ever seen.

Never forget Dortmund night either.

Taken from Thursday's Europa League match report on BBC's, (sorry), website:

"LASK's pressure eventually told as the hosts broke following Matt Doherty's slip and Michorl's long-distance effort beat former England number one Hart down to his left."
