If they don't like it, take the microphone at the half a la Delia Smith, and let them know you, as an English man, are their superior, obviously. They were conquered fair and square. And as such, any disagreeable nonsense from them is unacceptable. Then shout God save the Queen and drop the microphone.

He's better than what they have now so will improve the tattie howkers, but then again so would a traffic cone.

He’s a legend in his own head.

He had all the tools to be one of the best but there were a few technical issues in his game that he didn’t or wouldn’t rectify. He made some amazing saves but also so outlandish mistakes. That one vs Southampton where it went through his legs was such a basic mistake that should not be made for a prem keeper. Maybe he thought he was too good to work on his weaknesses but he was brutally exposed a number of times and he never seemingly worked on it. Which is either arrogance on his part or neglect of the coaching team.

He did have some great games for us and never really says anything too negative towards us in the press so I have no real ill feelings towards him but he could and should have achieved so much more than he did rather than scratching around the likes of Torino and Burnley and spurs on the subs bench.

The only currency consists of haggis, irn bru, Tunnocks tea cakes and some abomination they conjure up with a Mars Bar. This is why they were after the pound sterling when they apply to Brussels. The Eurocrats have told 'em already to stick their haggises where they best fit!

Joe has always come across as very pro-City, when he’s been a studio pundit.

He is good-looking and very articulate, and could be a useful asset for the club, when his playing days are over.

I wish him all the best at Celtic.

And to be fair to Joe, he knew he wasn't going to be 1st choice at Spurs over Lloris (baring injuries) he probably just wanted more opportunities in cup fixtures. Something Boring Burnley can't really offer.

He doesn't have any recent issues with injuries, so he should be favourite to keep the number 1 spot. It wouldn't be good news for Joe, but even if he doesn't become first choice, but by him signing, he pushes on Barkas to a higher level and with more consistency, I think Celtic would have to consider it good business.

He is taking a big drop in wages to get regular football when he could have sat on the bench. I think it's refreshing that Joe has done that and good on him. Particularly as the player who displaced him at Burnley has gone back to the Rags as 3rd choice.

He will be no 1. You couldnt push Barkas to be a good keeper, if you were behind the wheel of a fucking snow plough.

Right, here's my view.

As anyone who keeps up with my views, (that'll be me) will know, I like Hart and I hoped we would sign him a few times over these last few years. The reason is simple, hes a great keeper who has lost his way. If he hadnt't, he wouldnt be here. I believe he will be brilliant for us. I could be wrong, there's always a first time. There is a glorious feeling up here of all my Rangers pals, saying, hes been shite, hes finished. What I hear is, fuck this guy could change them. And he will. Or my hair isn't fucking gorgeous. And it fucking is.
