Joe Hart

Everyone is entitled to an opinion mate ,not for me yes he is great at shot stopping but in every other department I think he is nowhere near good enough ,I can’t get my round how shit he is with his feet and Enrique is no mug and he binned him off ,genuinely can’t get my head around Pep wanting him after he binned Hart for Bravo who made Immel look like Gordon Banks
Enrique may be no mug but Pep isn't either.
We have 2 very good keepers which is a whole lot better than having 2 average keepers.

I'll say to my dying day Pantilimon would have caught the corner they scored from against Wigan
I'll never forget what Mancini did for us; winning the cup and tearing down THAT banner. And ultimately bringing us our first league title in 44 years. I'll be forever grateful for that. However, he pulled a ****'s trick that day, dropping Costel, who had not let us down at all in the run to Wembley. He was the cup keeper, and he was treated abysmally that day. And reading stuff that's come out subsequently since then, Mancini had a reputation for rubbing people up the wrong way. He'd apparently lost the majority of the squad, as well as lot of the people who worked behind the scenes at the club.

Didn’t Pep forewarn Joe before he arrived that he would be looking for him to play the ball out from the back so Joe had time to adapt his game but didn’t?
Yep, the first pre-season games where Hart was wellying every ball long, with Pep looking on in exasperation sealed his fate.

Like a pervious poster pointed out that pre season game against Arsenal was the end for Hart , came on at half time and his first touch he just launched it as far as he good , Peps face said it all

Hart going squealing to the Sheik that he wasn’t going to get picked Fukin disgrace
Good shot stopper if the ball was either directly at him or at a nice height to his side
Stick it low to either post especially his left then it was a goal all day long distribution shite and dodgy on corners
Sound a bit like Big Mal assessing a certain inside forwards deficiencies at Bury circ 1965 lol

I loved Bobby and was singing you can stick your Pellegrini up your arse at Wigan but I agree he fucked Pantilimon over. Caballero and Bravo were both trusted in later finals and both made a big impact in us lifting the trophy.

We'll forget Ortega's last effort against the rags

Ah….remember that he couldn’t dive to his left!

Yes. Joe then proceeded to launch long balls in the first friendly he played and that was that. Signed his own death warrant!!

I loved Bobby. He may have rubbed some people up the wrong way and no, it’s not nice and it’s not the way you should treat people but neither is a group of professional footballers not turning up in an FA cup final against a less inferior side when so many fans have paid decent money to watch them play.

Tell me about it. I was there. By the way, I think you're being generous with the "may" bit. It seems pretty clear now, from all the stuff that came out subsequently after his departure, that he'd stood on plenty of people's toes.

Costel in goal or not, we wouldn’t have won that final. Only Tevez turned up to try and win it, the rest were a joke.

Generous or not, I did say it’s not nice what doing what he did. However I’m glad you agree with me about professional footballers throwing their toys out of the pram.

Hart interview on the City App this afternoon, was touched by Pep's regret about binning him, he said he respected Pep's decision but disagreed with it. Unlike other ex players, Joe has always spoken warmly of City, always cheering us on. Think Pep's comments meant a lot to Joe, showed both of them as classy individuals. Nicky Weaver and Gaz Baz both very complimentary of Joe too.

Unfortunately he did get binned at the right time for the club, Bravo was not great, but it did pave the way for Eddie who became our most successful keeper. Said something about our recruitment that today an ex keeper is warmly greeted by the entire stadium, showed genuine joy meeting the back room staff and both current keepers too.

Be interesting to see who keeps the gloves for next season.

It was a shame for Joe that he had his worst season for City the season before Pep arrived.
The goals he lost that season low left was weird.
He was never the same once he left City as well.
