joe kinnear has been appointed director of football at newcastle. he will oversee the signing of players and style of play. gotta feel sorry for them. dont deserve that

Totally baffling appointment. With fifty plus k home gates these guys should be aiming much higher. Still, will keep the xenophobes in the media happy.
 
A recipe for disaster (imo)....Can't think what Mike Ashley is playing at.....

Can only see friction and trouble ahead for the toon.......

That is a weird appointment. Apparently Kinnear has said he'll be in charge of transfers. Can't see Pardew being too thrilled about that. A bumpy road ahead for them, I think.
